Wollongong's longest running community theatre company. Formed in 1952, Wollongong Workshop Theatre is a small group of theatre enthusiasts open to the community which focuses on both mainstream and experimental theatre productions.
With its broad and diverse approach to its craft, Wollongong Workshop Theatre offers every year, an extensive season of productions to suit a broad audience base.
Workshop Theatre brings together performance artists from all levels of experience and backgrounds. It provides entry level access to the world of theatre production on stage and behind the scenes, as well as providing a vehicle for local experienced, trained and professional actors, writers, directors and production crew
